We are delighted to announce that Pemberton, a heavy set British shorthair of nineteen months and considerable gravitas, has joined our Lettings Desk. Pemberton was previously the doorman at a high end bakery and is therefore skilled at looking unimpressed while handling large sums of treats.
His first act was to rearrange our brochures alphabetically by smell. His second was to fall asleep on the brochures. His third was to close two leases before lunch. We are told this is called ‘natural talent’. Please join us in welcoming him, and do not, under any circumstances, move him from the filing cabinet before 14:00.
