Allow me to translate our brochures for the benefit of the sceptical. ‘Cosy’ means small. ‘Bijou’ means very small. ‘Characterful’ means a wall is missing. ‘Sun drenched’ means sun between 12:10 and 12:50. ‘Tranquil’ means no humans, or no sunbeam, or occasionally both.
And ‘a rare opportunity’ means we have been trying to sell it since February. Honesty is our currency, though we prefer to be paid in treats. I mention all this because transparency builds trust, and trust builds commission, and commission builds my yacht, which is a cardboard box with a sail drawn on it and which I love dearly.
