As the third quarter closes, I would like to thank every one of you. You have signed 87 leases, flopped on 311 cushions, and created a minor international incident on the third floor of the Pemberton Building, when two competing buyers wanted the same warm patch and began a staring match that lasted eleven hours.
The matter was resolved when the sun moved. It always does. That is the lesson of this business: no one owns the light, we merely hold the lease. And a very nice lease it is. Our year end party will be held in the conservatory on the 20th. Dress code is fur. Bring your own sunbeam.
